Attachments That File Themselves
The problem
Someone on the team was opening every email, reading every attachment, and filing it by hand. Invoices, documents, receipts. Hours of triage that produced nothing except tidiness.
Who this is for
Service businesses, bookkeepers, and operations teams whose inbox doubles as a filing system. Worth building when invoices, receipts, and client documents arrive faster than anyone can file them, and finding one later takes a search.
What I built
An AI-powered email processor in Make:
- Google Gemini classifies each attachment by type
- Structured data gets extracted from the documents themselves
- Files sort into the right Google Drive folders automatically
- Everything logs to Google Sheets with email notifications on completion
The result
Manual email triage and file sorting eliminated entirely. Attachments file themselves, with a data trail.
